Not nice =/= wrong, this is absolutely an example of Informed Wrongness.
a quick question. Was Wells supposed to be wrong to think that Jessie isn't a real Flash or was he supposed to be a dick for saying it out loud?
Edited by NNinjaWas Moral Event Horizon removed to the Speedforce's Blue and Orange Morality or..?
I'm not the one who removed it, but I'd guess it's because the aesop isn't broken. Whoever wrote the entry originally (I assume it was you, but I'm too lazy to check the history) thought that the aesop was "Don't take the weight of the world onto your shoulders... except this time, where we'll punish you if you don't do exactly that." But the actual aesop was "Don't take responsibility for the choices of others, but DO take responsibility for your own choices," which isn't a contradiction. Remember that Iris' death is caused by Barry creating Flashpoint, which means it's his job to fix it.
UH,actually Iris' Death is cased by FUTURE Barry trapping Savitar in the speedforce prison(and even though flashpoint gave him the IDEA to turn Wally into Kid Flash,it was still Wally who chose to touch the philosophers stone),it's absolutely NOT PRESENT Barry's "responsibility to fix it".

- Informed Wrongness: HR saying Jesse isn't the "real Flash" is supposed to be a case of Open Mouth, Insert Foot but he's not necessarily wrong, Jesse has only had her powers for a few months, she isn't as trained or as experienced as Barry and she's never fought a speedster before much less one as powerful as Savitar.
Right or not it was a dickish thing to say. Maybe Barry is better at flashing around than Jessie, but rubbing it in her face like that certainly wasn't nice. Hide / Show Replies
