I'm not sure what Critical Research Failure is doing here. Sam doesn't really worship the Norse gods, she just works for them. And considering that her father is Loki, she can hardly deny that the Aesir exist. Assuming she's rationalized it (which she may not have), she probably doesn't consider the Norse gods to truly be "gods".
Also, regarding the Critical Research Failure, in what way is the Hail Mary a CRF? Catholicism is a sect of Christianity, even if some other sects would disagree with that.
