Regarding Hype Backlash, what do you mean by "In the West, it's more of a Cult Classic", are you referring to Love Live itself being Cult Classic or something else? I do not want to get a wrong idea thinking Love Live is a cult classic.

Love Live doesn't have a large fandom outside Japan, China and Korea compared to mainstream anime.

Er, it does. Hundreds of them, and many that would never in a million years be _touched_ by the property owners. Is this trying to say that western fans mistake official publications for fanworks?
