- Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Aemond Targaryen in "Driftmark". While it can be argued that he claimed Vhagar and had every right to, he still chose to rub it in Rhaena and Baela's faces after they just lost their mother. There's also the fact that he was threatening to feed the girls to his dragon before the four younger children teamed up on him. It's worth noting that Aemond was fully prepared to kill Jacaerys with a rock right before Lucerys slashed at his eye.
- Baela: Vhagar is my mother’s dragon!Aemond: Your mother is dead.Rhaena: She was mine to claim!
- Rhaenyra Targaryen. Despite her good qualities and portrayal as the protagonist, Rhaenyra has still slept with a Kingsguard, for which the punishment is tradtionally a brutal death and castration, passed off bastards as trueborn which is considered high treason, and casually sacrificed an innocent guard to help her husband Laenor fake his death. She also casually calls for her brother to be tortured for telling the truth about her bastard sons.
The Criston Cole example doesn't explain why he's meant to be sympathetic.
Since this show is likely to invite more and more character questions in the coming episodes, should we begin making an Alternate Character Interpretation tab for the show already or wait til the end of the season?

- The casting of the Valyrian descendants was also met with a mixed reception, particularly in regard to Matt Smith being cast as Daemon Targaryen due to the Targaryens (and Valyrians in general) being described as "beautiful" in the books and Matt Smith supposedly not living up to that standard. It likely did not help that the last Targaryens to be portrayed on screen before them were Emilia Clarke as Daenerys and Harry Lloyd as Viserys, placing the bar fairly high.
This trope is usually for particularly strange or divergent casting choices. Was there that much backlash that Matt Smith is an outlandish choice to play a Targaryen because he's not attractive enough? Didn't this guy have a whole fan base of Doctor Who groupies?
If an Edit War is to be unleashed, i think it's better remove this current example of Unintentionally Unsympathetic until the waters have calmed down. Do you all agree?
