Okay, now I'm starting to get suspicious. Where did this website hear that three of the HP were edited to achieve lower classifications?

I hate that JK uses The Power Of Love for saving Harry, like, "most powerful dark wiazard just fired killing curse at an infant, but mommy loves you, so it's K" but in the later books/films, there was a spell introduced that literally makes a binding pact, Snape could have, knowing Voldemort was going to attack the Potters, taken some Liquid luck (which his book shows he clearly knows how to make properly) and used the fact that all endeavors will succeed for 24 hours to make Voldemort enter a magic pact to say "Yeah, sure, I wont kill Lily" but since he broke that pact, the pact was what made the spell backfire, or the pact turned to a form of killing curse in itself, so yeah, JK could have used that pact spell to actually make 'The Power of Love' work in a way that isnt fucking stupid, instead of Lily's love of Harry, it should have been Snape's love of Lily

Is there some sort of trope for the fact that shipping tends to be far more of an issue in the fandom then it actually is in the books? With the exception of Half-Blood Prince, romantic escapades are for the most part rather minor subplots, but to hear some people talk about it, the series is basically a romantic comedy with a little bit of good vs. evil going on as a sideshow.
