Interesting the whole "cunt" thing was deleted on the grounds that "values dissonance requires a 20 year waiting period". That wasn't the point: the point is that the joke about Dr Psycho calling Wonder Woman a cunt only has that weight and interpretation in the USA - the rest of the English-speaking world would think "a bit tasteless, but what's the seriously big deal the Americans are making out of it? Psycho was pissed off and used a full-on swear word, in the circumstances that's understandable. Why make it sound like the world just ended?" Nothing to do with it needing 20 years to become valid.

So... would it be fair to label the Joker as a Complete Monster here? It might be a little soon to tell, but this is easily one of the most cruel and sadistic takes on the Clown Prince of Crime I've seen in animated form — and yes, that includes TAS, in my opinion. Again, it might be too soon to say if he qualifies for sure, but that's definitely the direction in which I see the character going.
