"The film at least allows you to rationalize it as Auric's racism alone." I never understood the line about Koreans being cruel people to be as racist as the line in the book. Goldfinger is not looking down on Oddjob. Goldfinger is obviously someone who considers cruelty a useful ability (as shown by his disregard for life in general). Also it might be a comment about North Korea. If I said "North Korea is the most cruel state in the world" millions if not billions of people would agree.

Q—Fridge Logic: So why did Oddjob crush the Lincoln Continental? The gangster was already dead. He could have just drove it back.

A—As I recall, Bond had put his homing device into the car, and Felix Leiter was tailing it. Also, Oddjob crushed the car while the guy was still inside it. It was just that extra little sting.
