I'm removing any mentions of Saber/Celica as a fan preferred couple. According to the trope page, a pairing is only considered fan preferred if it is more popular than the official couple, which is definitely not the case here as Alm/Celica has far more fanart, support and content even on tumblr. A better example of this trope would be Gray/Tobin, which is really popular

Just a quick question regarding the removal of Silque for Tier Induced Scrappy. Silque and a Cleric!Faye being able to use Warp and then Rescue is a good combo and I didn't know about it so thanks for the tip. However, while this is a good combo, that really only applies if Faye is a Cleric, so I don't know if that outright saves Silque as a unit since thats pretty much relaying on another unit to make up for another units short comings. Also Invoke Dread Fighters is really good yes, but I'm not sure that really saves her as a unit either since she learns one really good Invoke compared to everyone else learning good or unique spells.

I'm not in the know about how the series' Character Tiers work, but I do know that Warp is super good on its own. Plus I believe in the original Gaiden (which doesn't have Faye) there's no range limit on Warp.

I don't doubt Silque is useful with Warp but I'm just not sure in Echoes if she is all that good. The main reason i ask is her entry was removed and while I agree Dread Fighter is a good Invoke, the remover used Cleric!Faye Rescue Silque Warp combo to say she isnt a bad unit. I don't feel that really proves she isnt a Tier Induced Scrappy since it means shes only useful if Faye is a Cleric, meaning if you dont Silque wouldn't be useful then. I don't have a problem with her being removed but saying shes useful because another unit feels like that means she isnt good on her own. If that makes sense.

Does Faye really qualify as a Base Breaking character? Even though she has a few fans/defenders, from what I've seen far more people consider her a flat and one note character. That sounds closer to scrappy material.
