I'm trying to classify the events of Chester's Day 24 and MC's encounter with Vernon. Would Mood Whiplash be the best trope?

I'm also wondering if the current entry for Surprise Creepy that part where Darius tries to get MC and Spencer together wouldn't be better for Mood Whiplash too. What do people think?
