Mario Strikers Charged despite its first E10+ Mario game in general has nightmare faces while using a Mega Charge, as well for electric fence showing skeleton bodies can deserve this list. It was the most violent E10+ game they can get away with.

Even the Uncanny Valley parts in Super Mario Odyssey has a realistic style, which few young players are uncomfortable in a Mario game.

I don't think Kingdom Hearts belongs here as an example. After all, Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that it's actually an example of the other trope.
