So was this show originally in French, and dubbed, or made by a French studio for direct American consumption? And could we get more information on the international channels that did air the entire series. Article seems a little America-centric at the moment.
Edited by joeldi Hide / Show RepliesI'd be curious to know this myself. There doesn't seem to be much information available about this show. It kind of has the look and feel of a European Western comic (which have their own quirks that differentiate them from American Westerns). And it doesn't seem particularly tailored to American tastes. Which seems to have been its problem. It really did vanish suddenly, with no warning or (AFAIK) explanation, to this day.
Though perhaps the show's financing and ongoing health was tied to an American contract?
Edited by suedenim Jet-a-Reeno!It was produced in English with an intended American audience, and after it was yanked from the airwaves in the US it aired on Teletoon in Canada for a complete run. Beyond that I have no knowledge of its finances or production, except that the voice actor of Jane was replaced shortly before airing.
So I contacted Warner Bros but they said they don't own the series. Does anyone have any idea where to look next?
