Magic Planes...

the moment when the planes make a conga-line behind George, it sort of broke the mood for many (yeah, me among them) it sort of felt like the "magic" was an unecessary third-wheel. is there a trope for that? is this the right place for that question?

I don't know the trope for that. If it exists either I don't know.

It didn't break the mood for me. It felt like classic Disney magic at it's best.

And yeah this is the kinda place to ask about this.

Isn't a deus ex machina when something just comes out of nowhere to resolve the plot? Cause while the magic came almost out of nowhere the paper airplanes were features massively beforehand

the magic as a Deus ex machina, indeed.

I'd suggest bringing this up to more people than me before adding it.
