Someone needs to separate the original series from the revival series. The whole page is far to conufsing as it is.

It should have been done years ago.

Re the redubbed accent in the US: When I saw the show originally on Nickelodeon, Stiletto had the 'Italian' accent. It may have been redubbed later, but I never saw him with a Mockney accent.

Maybe so, but when I saw the show on Nickelodeon, Stiletto definitely had the Cockney accent. Maybe it took a while for the network to get enough complaints to demand the redub?

Can't confirm. Aside from the Duel episode where Stiletto is in disguise as a Roma/"gypsy" fortune teller (which is a distinct accent, though a similar cadence, from Italian), he had a Cockney accent in the Nickelodeon airings. He did however call Greenback "Baroni," but it came off as an affectatious gimmick.

Personally I can't watch the DVD. It's too jarring and just wrong to me. I don't know why they released a US DVD with a version that US audiences would be completely unfamiliar with. At least they could have added an audio track option.

Should we create a character sheet for this show?

Sure, why not? However, I think the revival should be given its own page first.

Absolutely agree. It gets really confusing otherwise.

Should the revival series get its own page?

I agree. There should be separate pages for each of them.

In one episode, DM/Penfold pass through the US, where one can see a military silo launching one missile after another. Seems like a "US is warlike" joke. Is there a proper trope for that? And for that matter, does someone know the episode in question?

It's Cape Canaveral and they're launching space rockets.
