On this subject, I can understand if we don't do this for al of the other runs, but should there be a Character Page for the main comic?
This may be ridiculous, but am I the only one who thinks every run should have their own subpage, or folder or something? Folders would make it easier to find specific runs; the list of runs is only going to get longer, and each individual list of tropes is too...
Not confident this is True Companions, friends as close as family. Not quite the same thing as simply being precious.
- True Companions: The challenge seems to enforce this; by limiting the number and survivability of the pokemon, each one becomes more precious to the trainer, and by extension the player. A common house-rule is to give all the pokemon nicknames, which makes the connection even stronger.
How odd that some of the common Nuzlocke tropes still appear solely near the main Nuzlocke comic's arsenal of tropes. Mostly the general ones such as A Father to His Men...
So, wait, was norman alive the whole time? Because he shows up at the end of Hale's Platinum Run Chapter 9...
I'm noticing that this page is starting to get examples from other Nuzlocke comics besides the main one. So I was thinking, should we start splitting the page into sections for each of the most popular Nuzlocke comics (Nuzlocke, Robot, Hale, etc)? Or, if it gets to be too much, make separate pages entirely? The page would be organized better that way, at least.

It would cut down on the other comics from mudding up the actual Nuzlocke page, but there doesn't seem to be that many other fan-comics in the trope area. That being said, this could work but only if a few knowledged tropers scoured Hale, Robot, and the others for tropes. If Hale and Robot had enough tropes on their own, sections for each fan-comic would work, or one section could be built for every fan-comic, and another for 'Locke.
I'm starting to think that this might be necessary as well- so far we've got Robot, Hale, Nyachan, Kotone's Heart Gold Supershow, Freddy's runs, and possibly one or two others I've forgotten about on the main page- plus a few I know that aren't in the fan section but are on the forums and Deviantart. Right now it's almost clean enough to be a nonissue, but as the main is nearing the end of its second season and a number of the big-names have either finished one or are partway through a second, it might be a good time to start discussing what to do so we can be ready for when it is necessary.
Perhaps we can have a specific "/Nuzlocke/nameofcomic" set of subpages linked from this main page. I dunno.
I think this is a good idea. Actually, upon seeing this page for the first time, I wondered why this wasn't ALREADY implemented.
OK, had a thought and decided to see what you guys thought- anybody for adding a Troper Tales section for tropers who have done a Nuzlocke, or should we just keep those under the Pokemon Troper Tales? I can understand just wanting one page, but on the other hand the main series TT is getting kind of crowded. Thoughts?
The main site has lost the domain name, and is no longer up. Does anyone have or know where to find a backup of all the strips?
