The harvard dude released a new paper saying that the mathematical conclusion is he cheated. Dream has backed this up (while still saying it was luck, but that the conclusion you would come to is that the luck is not realistically achievable), and most people seem to agree that he modified his game in some way. Seems the case is closed for now

Has anybody mentioned anything regarding Dream's involvement in the 2020 Minecraft Mob Vote? Some videos on Youtube reveal how deep Dream's involvement in influencing the mob vote (the end result is that we got the Glow Squid), and the reactions by other people indicate atleast a divide because of it. (Search up "dream mob vote" and results point to Dream and the mob vote)

What should the page quote be? I saw aaadoesatrope changed it to the subscriber count intro, which is certainly fun and memey, but "oh, dream!" is just more catchy and iconic to me. Either is fine though, just wanted to hear thoughts

I was thinking we could change it to the "In this video, I try to speedrun and beat Minecraft while ____ hunters try to stop me" intro. The subscriber count bit is iconic, but it's also used for the end quote at the bottom of the page, making it feel a bit redundant. I'll wait for a reply before editing anything tho.

Erm, I happened to have noticed this in the page source: "More examples (let's get to a thousand!)". I don't understand why people would want this page to list a thousand tropes - Can someone explain to me the reasoning behind this please?

Whoops, I didn't think anybody would be offended by this. I added this statement, and I was trying to be optimistic about the whole thing, and we were already getting tons of examples written. You can remove that statement if you want. Besides, nobody will see it unless they edit the page.
I wasn't offended by it - more curious as to why someone would add such a thing. But, thanks for telling me anyways. I say it stays, since it's a fun thing to do actually! Let's get to 1,000 examples on the main trope list everyone! <(^0^)>

Just to add in the "Should be done", maybe it's time to start making folders for the tropes, as the page is progressively getting longer.
I dunno if anyone checks the discussion page anymore, but I thought it'd be worth a mention that as of recent the main article has brought over 2,000 people to the wiki from non-search engine links (see the "Related" tab for proof). In addition, Dream is now found in 140 articles and counting. But let's go back to that first number—whether they be editors or readers, 2,000 people. For the rest of you who've been editing the main article, pat yourselves on the back.

Thank goodness I added a lot of Dream examples to most of the trope pages. Seriously though, 2,000 is a lot of people, and I have a feeling that most of them came from reading other trope's examples and seeing Dream on there. Thanks for all the help on this page guys!

Why hasn't George Not Found's latest video received more mentions? By this point, shouldn't we make an entire Heartwarming page for Dream&George and add the content of that video there in several bullet points?

Great news everyone: I crosswicked (adding examples from this page to all the trope pages) all of the examples in this page! Now if you check the related search (press the "Related" button next to the "Edit Page" button), Dream is found in a whopping 96 articles! Better yet, according to the related search, "Since January 1, 2012 this article has brought 279 people to the wiki from non-search engine links." 279 people. Some of them tropers that helped add examples. You people are awesome.

I don't know.... I didn't create this page. Maybe you can ask a question on Ask The Tropers. But if you want my opinion, then as long as it's related to Dream and not Wilbur (i.e. if Wilbur had a page on TV Tropes, then don't put stuff that Wilbur did on Dream's page, but you can put what Dream did on Dream's page) But that's my opinion, and I may be wrong about it. The best option is to just Ask The Tropers to get multiple opinions and (hopefully) get an official answer from one of the mods.
So uhhhh...drama is happening.
