The entire purpose of this game appears to be furry sex. Is there really a point to such articles?

Sure. It's a work, and it has a significant audience (within the Furry Fandom), and it has tropes.

If we can get visual novels of similar quality, then so can this.

Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.

I don't suppose there's some way to contact you is there Gilgamesh? That way in case we get to editting, we don't wind up cross-editing entries or something :P That and it's nice to talk to fans.

Hm. I'm wondering if we should change the premise. It doesn't appear to be a traditional Dating Sim, so far as you actually having to worry about decisions and presents and other stuff associated with the typical Dating Sim game. It seems more like a typical Visual Novel than anything else. Especially since it appears you can't fail.

Pages in the Troper/ namespace have discussion sections. You can try here.

And if it ends up being more like a Visual Novel, the classification can change — it's not all that difficult to do.

So, a hidden project called Morenatsu: Forever In The Wind got released today. It contains a lot of new stuff, including the completed routes of Torahiko, Soutaru and Kyouji. Should the pages be updated now because of this?

The camping trip actually has a scene that changes depending on who's route your on. Like you get the scene with Tatsuki if your on his route.

Guess your to far in to their route to pick someone to spend time with

Would it be okay to start dividing the character page in Folders? It's starting to get pretty big and it's only going to get bigger the more characters they release.

Sorry I hadn't noticed this before. Seems it was already done.

Would it be fine if I divided the supporting characters by the route they appear on?

...Could we avoid talking about the translation? It's well supposed to be a secret.

I'm wondering about what we should use for transliteration of names, since there is no official spelling. We've been using proper Hepburn, but the letters with the mācrōn diacritics can't be used inside a link text. Sōtarō can't be linked as Sōtarō, but for some odd reason it can only be linked as Sôtarô — only ISO-8859-1 characters (like the vowels with cîrcûmflêxês) seem to be compatible with links. So should we continue using this switcheroo system (Sōtarō, Sôtarô)? Or should we switch to circumflexes in all cases (Sôtarô, Jûichi)? Or should we double-write the long vowels (Soutarou, Juuichi)? In native Japanese words or words of Sino-Japanese origin, only three long vowels are spelled with macrons — oo=ō, ou=ō, uu=ū. (The combination ou remains ou if they're on a word boundary, so Tetsuya Ino-ue is always Inoue, never Inōe.) The vowels ei/ii are always double-written, and ā/ē/ī only exist in words of foreign origin outside Sino-Japanese.

Soutarou, Juuichi i like this one best. ^_^

Personally? I prefer writing without macrons and circumflexes, I find it easier to write it that way since since I can't type those special characters unless I copy-paste them. I think we should grab a romanization (like say, Sotaro instead of Soutaro or any other variation) that doesn't uses specials characters and stick with that.

Gilgameshkun Since: Jan, 2001

I don't like the ambiguous "Sotaro" spellings. I know it's contextually clear, but it's linguistically jarring. Sōtarō, Sôtarô, Soutarou or even Sohtaroh are better than Sotaro.

I suppouse. If we are going to skip special characters adding the extra -u is going to be neccesary.

I am...comfortable with that. :3 Until they fix the technical issuue in the fuutuure, we can gou this way.

I believe the Pervert Dad trope needs to be removed or verified. Playing Tatsuki's route I saw nothing to indicate this exists. If we're going off of Gamma's fanart alone, I don't think that's enough to prove a connection. Is there a Word of God that says this is the case? I'd like to try and get some kind of confirmation for or against before I start editting.

I'm not talking about Gamma's fanart. I'm talking about Gamma's art. He heads the Morenatsu Project and drew all the images we're using on these pages. Whether or not they actually did it may be unverified, but a Pervert Dad doesn't actually have to engage in Parental Incest — they just have to lust.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound condescending. Just that I'm not sure if the artwork itself counts as a confirmation that such lust exists or not. If it's just him drawing him because he likes it, then I don't necessarily count it as official, hence "fanart". I mean, it's possible to draw artwork of your own characters in situations they wouldn't actually be in is all I'm saying.

Okay then! Oh, is there a way to create a Crowning Music of Awesome page?

Should we make a C Mo F/C Mo H page for the game? We have two routes unlocked and people are already working on translating scripts into English.

You'll have to forgive me, I'm not familiar with that kind of page. Could you please elaborate?

MelficeCyrum Since: Dec, 1969

Ah it's an ancronym for Crowning Moment of Awesome/Heartwarming/Funny. Usually an item (like a movie or book) can get a seperate page specifically for these moments. Usually there has to be enough of these moments to warrant such a page. I'm wondering if the game warrants such a page yet.

EDIT: Oh, never mind, it's right there at the top. I'm not use to the new layout with the buttons!

thank you for the characters page.

I want to put in Torahiko's section that he is most likely the canon route because he's on the logo of the game's development blog, and on the project Morenatsu bumper at the beginning of the game, and in the background of the title screen. What would be the trope name?

Also, what would the trope be that would say that Tatsuki gets really horny when he drinks sake (he does)?
