I feel like this might be a Shout-Out, but it's maybe a bit weak, so I thought I'd see what other people think.
At the end of A Grain of Truth if you ask the Wiseman about the bird on his head, he says "What bird?" This seems very similar to the Duck Man in Discworld novels, who has a duck on his head, but whose response to questions about it is "What duck?"

Hey, I only just noticed your question, so, erm... sorry? For not having before? To the point, I actually can't remember if this was done on purpose. It might have been, as both Mark and I have this sort of sense of humor. The joke definitely came from him, like all the visual jokes in the series (I add just puns and accents).

Hello, everyone, this is your mad editor-slash-translator speaking. We're well on the way with the newest installment and I'm a bit stumped on accents/dialectalisation (is that a word in English?) so if you have any feedback, that would be lovely.
What sort of feedback do I mean? Well, in Grain of Truth we did some generic "pirate-y" speech, and in Chapter II some characters' speech is based on cockney (in English, the Polish version had bałaka, or the best approximation thereof I could manage). We're thinking of doing an accent for (spoilers!) Myo's village.
I'd like to know how the accents came across in previous installments. Did they feel natural? Or contrived? Did this help the suspension of disbelief? Did it make Bark a more real place? Did it lend authenticity to the characters?
If you have any thoughts on the subject, they'd be appreciated. Thanks!
