Actually Stranded 2 does have a map editor built in, I know because I remember creating small custom items and putting objects in it, the map editor is accessible via the main menu iirc, so no the statement that say's Stranded 3 has a map editor for the first time is false, it will be more advanced but Stranded 2 has a map editor, idk about the first one, never played the first.
