I know it's been a long, long time since anyone's really cared about Sad Satan, considering the Evony page is covered in warnings telling the viewer not to download the game and that the game's just spyware, would it be a good idea to have similar warnings for Sad Satan? Many "clones" of Sad Satan had illegal content containing child abuse as well as nasty computer viruses and botnet shit, so it might be a good idea to advise people to not go seeking the game out for its potentially illegal and dangerous nature.
That being said, it might not be the best idea due to there being "clean" versions of the cloned version of the game out there without any illegal material nor viruses from what I know, though I have yet to see anyone verify if these copies actually are safe and quite frankly I'm not sure if it'd be such a good idea to let people just dig for a safe version for fear that they'd accidentally download the unsafe/illegal version.
I'm probably the only one who still remembers this whole Sad Satan thing, but I just wanted to hear you guys' thoughts on this.
Hide / Show RepliesHi, CandyRotten, I'm from four years in the future and I couldn't agree more with your sentiment. As of right now, the Sad Satan page is free to edit and I already added warnings at the top and bottom of all the relevant pages. Let me know what you think and feel free to edit them if you think they need work.

Just double-checked on the subreddit and the clean version's gone. Apparently, around three years ago it was deleted on all the mirrors and the creator can't be contacted. Weird.
