How does this get an AO rating on pure violence alone while GTA V has uncensored, topless strippers, a torture scene, and the freedom(but not rewuirement) to minigun an entire freeway?
Hide / Show RepliesYou just answered yourself, in GTA, despite the fact that you were always a mafioso, some players played just for the lulz, others for the (well crafted) story, but otherwise, you can choose being a criminal. Hatred is that, being a criminal, pure and simple.
I heard tell that the game has been removed from Steam Greenlight...
I find it funny and ironic, the fact that I always wanted a badass macho with long hair as a main character in a videogame.... But I wanted him to be heroic. The concept of the game, and the fact that this guy is not a good guy.... feels awful.
Edited by 186.182.119.103 Hide / Show RepliesIn all fairness, that seems to be the point. The game has you playing a villain, doing villainous things. It's supposed to be er... well... awful, in concept. And for that, I see little reason to complain, considering many other games have done similar content with far little backlash.
The difference is that the Protag of Hatred only has his hatred for everyone not him to explain why he's out killing people. The game has only the bare essentials of an excuse plot.
You hate things. Kill them. He's probably so misanthropic that being around other people causes him pain, hence why he's off on his murder thrill kill.
