Removed from main page, as there is a cleanup effort on one of the pages linked here underway and I am not sure what to do with this entry:
- Tyrannosaurus Rex: Or rather Tyrannosaurus dominum. Present in normal and albino versions. One of the nastiest non-boss monsters.

Might want to remove the note below picture about not weilding weapons when riding. You can do so now.

Should we just incorporate Ark: Survival of the Fittest into this page, or make a separate page for tropes relevant to that mode?
Late installment weirdness section discussing Scorched Earth DLC is completely wrong on every count: it has more than one dinosaur species (carnotaurus, raptor, gallimimus, megalosaurus, t-rex and more), many creatures that aren't dinosaurs aren't mythical or alive but based on extinct animals (thylacoleo, daeodon, terror bird, doedicurus and many more), the installment is not late - it's the first official DLC and later DL Cs get much much weirder, and the only "fantasy/mythical" species are probably manticore the boss and Wyverns while the first map the Island had Dragon, megahuge Spider and King-Kong sized Ape so one can argue Scorched Earth is less fantasy-based than the Island. And it's definitely less fantasy-based than "the rest of the game" with later DL Cs having more and more made up creatures.
I suggest removing "late installment weirdness" trope, this trope as described in its page, does not fit Ark at all, well maybe except the Genesis I - virtual reality and Genesis II - spaceship, which are different from the rest of the maps that are Arks, though I don't think they are different enough to be called weird in Ark's context.
The BS about Scorched Earth should definitely be removed though.
