Hi I'm sorry to be a bother guys I just edited this because it left out Amy Winehouse. Now I know I am a big Winehouse fan boy or stan so you might not trust my opinion LOL, but she is credited with starting new British invasion over there. More so than Adele it doesn't matter if Adele sold more Adele came five years after Amy with 21 and two years after with 19. This article was simply incorrect sorry to sound arrogant, but it was as it stated that Susan Boyle came after the release of 21 she didn't. "I dreamed a dream" which was the best selling album of the year in America came in 2009 two years before 21, but a year after "Back to Black" so its obvious that it was Amy that kicked it off here is a source to back me up if you don't believe me one from Adele herself https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CC8QFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.adele.tv%2Fblog%2F334%2Famy-flies-in-paradise-x&ei=RK34UubtDbTT7AbWsoDwBQ&usg=AFQjCNElbjoLVFa9uN4G6tshiFPmu0NF0w&sig2=X0CLfO1TCqITU32aXCHzPw&bvm=bv.60983673,d.ZGU

I just changed it to include this hope no one minds, I obviously didn't delete Adele's place from it as I'm not saying she didn't have an influence I just stuck in the fact that the likes of Amy, Susan Boyle and Duffy all had success pre 21 and were considered an invasion back then.
