I do feel it's important to have some sort of mention regarding his first stint with the band and its ending, so that fans who didn't witness that press release being dropped in 2007 and outsiders alike can understand why his 2022 return is so surprising to fans of that era. However, between the Jerkass trope being marked No Real Life Examples, Please! several years after I added the wick to the main page and my own recognition of how it can come off in poor taste/read as defamatory, I could no longer allow it to stand there. Hence, why I deleted the entry earlier today as part of the much larger rewrite I did to bring the page as a whole up to date.
I do think this page can handle this, along with the additional context of his very brief run with Trap Them and his on-off relationship with The Red Chord. But I'd rather practice Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment with such a sensitive subject, and give others a chance to weigh in as well, so I've marked the entry as hidden for the time being and brought it in here to solicit input. Here goes:
Hostility on the Set: Heavily implied with Mike Justian during his first stint, as the press release announcing his firing not only made it clear he was being fired, but also stated "We are not in the business of airing dirty laundry", thus seeming to indicate that some sort of serious incident had occurred despite also serving to shut down all conversation from their end on said incident. People have noticed similar trends with Justian, such as his swift termination from Trap Them a few years after leaving Unearth, as well as his revolving-door relationship with The Red Chord that seems to have been almost entirely related to his and Guy Kozowyk's ability to co-exist on the same stage at any given time. Regardless, it seems he later buried the hatchet with Trevor and Buz at least, given his return to the band in 2022.

Besides the appropriateness of adding this discussion at all, I do now wonder if I've ascribed the right trivia bit, as there are lines that more closely line up with phrasing endemic to Creative Differences alongside the infamous "Dirty Laundry" quote.
So, Mike Justian...
