So considering peoples' love to misuse Screwed by the Network on here, I was thinking we could add something like this to where SBTN usually goes; %% Note: Cartoon Network not airing reruns or new episodes of ''Steven Universe'' for a long period of time is not an example of ScrewedByTheNetwork; please stop putting it here.

How's this?

Yes, but it should have a bit explaining why.

Something like "There is no evidence the hiatuses or lack of reruns has hurt the show's longevity. The former is strong evidence that the executives DO think the show has a large viewership, and are making a special effort for what they think will get the most ratings."

Could I use that? and add something like "As such, CN's handling of SU's schedule is not an example of Screwed By The Network, so please don't insert examples relating to it.

Alright, so do new episodes and/or reruns not airing count as Screwed by the Network or not?

  • Screwed by the Network: The show completely disappeared from Cartoon Network UK in August 2017, and hasn't aired since.

Examples of Screwed by the Network require a show to be cancelled with evidence that it never had a chance to generate sufficient ratings.

For a foreign, same language broadcast like this, "cancellation" would mean they stopped showing episodes even though they were already made. Two months without reruns (and possibly premiers, depending on if they were caught up to US broadcast before then) is not proof the show is even cancelled, much less cancelled in a specific way.

Oh, okay. I imagine the case for the US would be similar?
