If it were me, deciding between which boards are the worst to play, it would most definitely be Peach's Birthday Cake. VERY rarely does anybody actually get a star, since about halfway through the board a Goomba takes 10 coins from you to partake in a "Flower Lottery," and three of the four seeds get you to the star space, so if you really want a star, you'll have to be hoarding around at least 30 coins. Even worse, in the flower lottery, there's a 1/4 chance of getting a Bowser seed, which brings you over to Bowser's cake, where he takes 20 more coins from you. If that wasn't enough, you then have to do it again. And there's still a chance of getting a Bowser seed. This means for the most unfortunate players, you could be stuck in an infinite loop of bankruptcy. Add to that the star-stealing Piranha Plants and you have yourself one of the worst maps in the series' history.
I think that must be the reason: when pretty much every level is That One Level, what's the point?
— Professional Mole — Amateur Troper ...No, not that kind of mole.I guess now I see why there's no Mario Party boards on the page, since the game is heavily luck-based, and even if a board is low-scoring, anyone can still win.
The control stick spinning minigames in the first game were pretty bad from what I've heard, though.
Added Peach's Birthday Cake to the list, too. Feel free to add any board from the other games as well if you wish.
I changed the description for the That One Level boards in the Mario Party section so that they include boards which seem to get lower scores than the rest. Feel free to add upon it with examples from the other games if you wish.
What? No mention of pretty much every board in the first Mario Party? I mean, Wario's Battle Canyon had the luck-based cannons, Peach's Birthday Cake had the many Happening Spaces where someone could've planted a Piranha Plant to steal your Star, and dear God Mario's Rainbow Castle. I hate those dang Toad-Bowser switches. And they're even worse on Yoshi's Tropical Island because of the ever-rising Thwomp tolls.
