The Firefly example currently includes this statement: "Most gun lubricants will flash-freeze when exposed to vacuum, disabling the weapon."
Why would the lubricants "flash-freeze"? Vacuum does not make things cold. In fact, it is an excellent thermal insulator. That's why we use it in Thermos containers to prevent hot liquids from getting cold. This claim should be deleted unless someone can cite a scientific basis for it.
