  • Infant Immortality: Played straight with Rothwyn and Eldrid's baby. Averted with the children in the other capsules.

The trope explicitly only applies to on-screen children, so the children in the other capsules, who lived and died off-screen, aren't an aversion, they're just not applicable.

Rothwyn and Eldrid's baby is a bit more arguable, but I'm inclined to think it's not an example. The current version of the trope, which incidentally is now called Improbable Infant Survival, emphasises situations where children survive but adults in the same situation don't. All the adults in the baby's capsule survive, too, so it's more a case of "everybody survives that wasn't dead already when the heroes arrived" than it is of "the baby survived and the adults didn't".

I've been thinking for a while that we should move the episode tropes to recap pages, but I can't decide what the recap pages should be titled, when the serials don't have names. "Sapphire and Steel S1", "Sapphire and Steel S2", etc. seems a bit bare.

Any thoughts?
