Soooooo... I'm wondering. Should I bother mentioning in my edits what the fantastic elements are clearly metaphors for? I've been doing that for a few examples I've added, but I'm not entirely sure if it's necessary. I do feel like it adds clarity and context, as examples probably seem like gibberish to someone unfamiliar with the show.
