I'm thinking. should we have a characters page set up for the boats, instead of having them on the main page?
-wobbles-There needs to be some serious pruning of the outdated information in the description.
Posted some rumors floating around that are in the same line as the Cornelia Marie stuff: that Keith and the Wizard are gone after this season (and that the 7/2/13 episode has been banned after it initiated a huge shitstorm) and that Zach is also gone from the show after the upcoming season finale having quit his dad's ship.
Hide / Show RepliesAny sources? I hate to sound like an editor for The Other Wiki but I can't find any sources at all, news or rumors or anything. As for the 7/2/13 episode being banned, it was on again the next week, so that doesn't seem likely.
There's been no indication that any of these "rumors" are anything but that; more to the point, they don't even show up in a web search. I am removing them all. Plus I'm trimming additions to Big Screwed Up Family for reasons of opinion.
And the Cornelia Marie stuff was not a rumor, it was revealed in a Yahoo News article back in May when the season was still ongoing.

They have every modern technological advance available to them in their command bridges, so why not expand the use of it to include reaping the ocean's bounty and save hundreds of wasted hours and extra work?
Hide / Show RepliesTwo things immediately come to mind:
- The cost of such equipment, plus the time and money spent installing it on the boats and training the captains and crews
- The rough waters and storms would probably tear up the equipment and/or its rigging.
The hostile descriptions of Dane Tebo on the main page are weirding me out. The whole Wizard crew basically not only constantly bullied him, but some also threatened him with physical violence (that we got to see), and he's made out to be the bad guy? I get that he was straining the crew's morale, but he was not solely at fault.
