I watched The Great Train Robbery, 1902 edition, once. It's a pretty good film, holds up well... There is yellow in this black & white film!
I have also noticed color segments in the Lon Chaney 1926 Phantom of the Opera. And in King of Kings, 1926...
ETA: Not going to cut The Wizard of Oz over that — it was the first with 3-strip Technicolor. But if I knew for certain the first film to mix 2-strip Technicolor and black and white (or black and colored film stock) and was any good, I would list that film as a footnote. I did cut Sin City over that.

Do listings for Seinfeld Is Unfunny have to be considered good at the time? I don't recall anyone liking Sin City when it came out.
