Yeah, you're probably right on that score.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Considering all of the rules around the Ever After I still believe that Didn't Think This Through still counts for the Curious Cat not being able to use Neo or another empty vessel to enter Remnant. The door only works with someone from Remnant wanting to go back and if they want to bring someone else it has to be their decision. Lewis couldn't bring the cat because it wasn't his promise. The cat's own desires have never mattered to the door.
Edited by torru369 Hide / Show RepliesDidn't Think This Through requires the Cat to know in advance exactly how the door works to realise that there's such a thing as being too empty to return to Remnant. It clearly didn't know that in advance, and only figured it out when Neo was blocked from using the door. So, it cannot think through what it doesn't know. But it clearly didn't see this twist coming, hence Didn't See That Coming.

Would Jaune and Weiss using the Cat's words from the previous episode ("It's not a place you go, it's a place you know.") count as a Meaningful Echo? To me it might, but Jaune explicitly signals that he's quoting:
