Seriously, apart from his usual snark, Discord never abuses Fluttershy, or, if you think about it, does anything particuarly harmful. Apart from the beavers, which he fixes.
I've been here too long. Regretting choosing this screenname ten years ago.
Which trope would it fall under that because the other 5 of the mane 6 don't believe in Discord's reformation they won't help Fluttershy and force her to befriend him all alone? You would think in a show called Friendship is Magic, they'd want to support her even if they don't believe him and at least follow Fluttershy's lead.
After looking, I'm thinking Fair-Weather Friend works, because they didn't speak up when Discord chose to stay at Fluttershy's. They didn't offer to help with the plan, and only offered help if she got into trouble (which they couldn't really follow through on thanks to Discord's eating the spells). When the episode ended, they were all looking skyward in that way that implies "oh, I knew all along she'd succeed" when their actions the entire episode implied they fully expected her to fail and that she was an idiot for giving up her element in a display of trust.
