I'm confused. Why is there an episode list, with summaries, if all the links are dead? Also, the HIMYM fandom is so big here I'm almost sure there is an actual recap page, and I just need to find it?

Because the pages haven't been made yet. Leaving redlinks so that people know where to make pages is a common practice here.
