There seems to be an inconsistency with what can be produced by the Flesh - Jimmy wears a wedding ring on a cord around his neck, which his Ganger does not, yet the Doctor's Ganger is wearing an identical metal watch. This seems like a weird production error on a show that pays a lot of attention to detail, but regardless, what does this come under? Production error? Implied Magic A Is Magic A?
Hide / Show RepliesIt's not a production error; it's an identifier. The gangers come from an archived program, rather than making a new one each time, so whatever difference there is between them is because that's what the person looked like/was wearing at the time s/he made the print.
Yeah, I understand the /reason/ for it, but there seems to be an inconsistency with what's going on when you look at the Flesh-Doctor. He has a watch, but not a sonic screwdriver (yet the Flesh accurately recreates a Time Lord, albeit with difficulty), and the boots were meant to be the tell, so...well, I suppose you can sit around all day analysing inconsistencies and wondering if they are actually part of the Grand Moff's latest masterplan.
Doctor Who newbie here. I believe I had my first brush with the series' infamous Nightmare Fuel with this episode. Watching at night, alone, in a very dark living room probably didn't help.
