Why was the entry on Michael Jackson removed from this page? Given that he's enough of an example of the trope to warrant the Quotes page for it, it's odd that the whole thing was removed.

Under discussion of Shirelles and "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," I don't think it's true that all-female vocal groups were revolutionary for 1960. All-female groups have been a standard part of pop music going back at least to the Andrews Sisters and the Chordettes in the 1940s. Also, just below that item, "Twist and Shout" is mentioned as popularized in R&B by the Everly Brothers. It was the Isley Brothers.
