I think that Goosefeather's Curse should be added. Obviously, the Great Hunger is chock full of scary bits, but off the top of my mind I'm thinking about the scene where someone trips over an elder because no one has the strength to bury him.

Hey, so maybe we should reorganize the page? Having the moments be in order of arc like they are with all the other pages would make more sense.

I agree. I had done that for the Funny page, but never got around to doing this page yet.

Should Spottedleaf's Heart be added? While perhaps not as graphic or gruesome as the accounts of blood, poison, cults, etc., it's the subtlety of the whole thing that makes it horrifying. Think about it like this: an older man, probably in his late thirties with a teenage son, begins to spend an inordinate amount of time with a young girl in her preteens. He brings her presents, compliments her frequently, and calls her special. When she reaches the cat equivalent of a teenager, he begins to court her, calling her beautiful and saying that he'd like to be in a relationship with her. When she takes issue with his use of violence, he mocks her and those she loves, making her feel guilty and wanting to be with him, before he turns around and apologizes to her to get in her good graces again. This continues until he asks her to meet him alone, at night, without telling anyone. When she discusses her dreams and ambitions, he again mocks them, saying that if she really loved him, she'd give up her goals to be with him. This is terrifying. The book depicts the grooming and abuse of a young girl by an older, respected man, and worst of all the book portrays this as a straight romance in a book aimed towards children. There is no attempt made to call out Thistleclaw's abuse of Spottedpaw, by the author or any other characters, and the reason the relationship breaks apart is not due to an outside force stepping in and getting Spottedpaw help, but because Spottedpaw is disgusted with the violent tendencies of Thistleclaw. Like it or not, the book portrays an adolescent girl being sexually groomed by an older man- and no one does anything about it.
