—All You Zombies— If this doesn't count as a mind screw then I don't know what other time travel related ones would. It is best not to assume anything in the book. It was originally supposed to be published in Playboy but they rejected it.

Hitchhiker's Guide? Seriously? It's only a mind screw if you have a bloody-minded determination not to approach it on its own terms; everything makes sense within the context of the story. Dirk Gently, now, is another matter...
