I think there's a meme where Vinny makes duck noises? A prototype of this meme started in the 2010s with Vinny making Dolan Duk sounds (nicknamed the Dolancycle by fans), before it was dropped after a few years; but a more modern version appeared as Vinny started making Angrish that sounded like duck noises, and getting compared to duck in You Tube clips.

I migrated some of the entries to Running Gag, as that's more appropriate for things the streamers do that are largely them repeating themselves or which receive little fanside interaction or mutation or alteration beyond basic parroting of what the streamers themselves say. If you would like to discuss or dispute whether certain entries make more sense on the Running Gag page or the Memes page, feel free to do so here.

I've been questioning for a long time whether the Vinezouken entry deserves to be on this page in the first place. While the entry admits to it being minor, even that seems to be overly generous, as putting in the research only turns up a handful of images on the official Image Booru, drawn by the same couple of artists over a short period of time, and nothing more. All edits on the matter prior to my cleanup come from the same user, who seemingly has a history of Fan Myopia-related Entry Pimp issues including for this series.

As art fads happen all the time, and even those with more traction don't make the cut for this page, I'm not sure why this one deserves special treatment. If anyone with more active knowledge of the fanbase can turn up evidence of it being a widespread phenomenon after all, then it would be appreciated. But until then, I'm removing it.

so apparently according to the "Is this an example?" thread [1] , a huge chunk of this page shouldn't even exist as most of these memes are only known within the fanbase and haven't "mutated" to the "outside world", as the Memetic Mutation page would imply.

i'd clean it up myself, but i really only know which lines i added that aren't strictly Memetic Mutation, and i don't know enough about randoms on the internet that don't watch Vinesauce to know which ones leaked to the rest of the internet (like Grand Dad and "plae dmc2", something one of ''Astral Chain's voice actors referenced)

Can anyone tell me more about Joel's Mr Kill meme? The current entry we have on it is quite weirdly written and I was going to clean it up, but I can't find enough info on Mr Kill to be able to rewrite the entry. I think the part about it possibly originating from AVGN checks out at least.

Does anyone know where the Spider-Man 2 pizza music meme came from?

I dunno how to really add them in mostly since I'm not that associated with Vinesauce history and can't really do the explanations all that well, but in recent times I've seen stuff like "3D Fidget Spinnah" and "MORTIS" become memes.

Mr. Dink seems to be strongly associated with Vinny in addition to GPM, because he's shown up often in art for Vinny's streams within the past two or so years. I searched for his tag on the Booru out of boredom a few months back and most results were for Vinny's streams, which surprised me because he's listed as a GPM meme here. Maybe we should move that to the General section, maybe with a new name because the quote currently used for GPM's entry seems to be exclusive to him.

Also, it's not nearly as widespread as Mr. Dink, but Vinny's cousin (the older one with the club referenced in an Ocarina of Time 3D stream, not the younger "pee pool" one referenced in a Super Mario Bros. 3Mix stream) seems to be quoted often, particularly in the format of "You gotta come to my club. It's called [insert random word here]."

Edit: Modified the Mr. Dink entry and added "You gotta come to my club." Both might need some work.

This page and the character page give differing origins for jokes about Vinny's supposedly tiny hands. The character page says it's because of a picture of him holding a large guitar that makes his hands look small by comparison, while this page says it's because someone misheard something Jen said. I don't know what stream the Jen quote is from (or even whose stream it was, especially because Jen doesn't archive hers), but the guitar picture definitely exists and I've seen it (I think on Know Your Meme).

Edit: I'm pretty sure it's this picture:

I don't remember who added the guitar thing on the Characters page, but I was the one who added the origin on the Memes page. I asked Lamango (a fairly notable community member who frequents just about every Vinesauce channel) about it a while back, and that is what he told me. The guitar pic may have been a coincidence, or they just both happened around the same time and led to the meme's birth. You might have to ask Lamango about it, I don't really want to bother him any more on the subject.

If that's the case, then the character page entry should probably be changed.

I merged the two together on both pages because they both come across as potential sources of jokes. The Jen quote sounds more typical of what's seen on Vinesauce, but the guitar picture ends up looking like something that could be used as "photographic evidence" for Vinny's hands being small.

Would the buvvins count as a meme? It's at least well known among fans to have ended up as a potential choice for the name of Vinny's second New Leaf town.
