Should this really be in the Manga namespace? OEL manga aren't actually manga, they're Animesque comic books.

Unlike American comics, Amazing Agent Luna actually reads right-to-left.

I fail to see how that's relevant if it's still not made in Japan.

It was marketed as a Manga, reads like a manga, art like a manga. It’s not a comic using anime stylizings, nor was it ever marketed as one.

But... it's a comic book. Manga is just literally "a comic made in Japan." A comic not made in Japan is... a comic book.

Larkmarn is correct; the only reason why Comicbook and Manga are treated as different mediums is because "Japan does it differently". There's no reason why OEL Manga should appear in the Japanese namespace.

There is one reason: AAL is Manga. Look at the art style. And even the page openings is done to open in reverse, opening from left to right instead of the Western opening right to left.

The only definition of manga is "A Japanese comic book." These comics are neither made in Japan, nor are they Japanese-language. Being animesque does not a manga make. And "because it is" is a terrible argument.

Wiki Talk thread made.
