Can we be so sure that ads which fail to make us "remember" the product are really so ineffective? Maybe they can work subconsiously. If I've been primed to associate Brand X with coolness at a gut level, does it really matter whether I can tell a pollster anything about Brand X — so long as I find myself gravitating towards it at the store?
I think an In-Universe folder is long overdue. The fictional Seinfeld example stands out in a folder otherwise dedicated to real life examples of ineffective clothing ads.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
