"Note that in Real Life, hypnosis actually works best on people who have a lot of willpower, intelligence, and creativity - the hypnotist harnesses these qualities to do all of the things associated with hypnosis. But that wouldn't make for funny or interesting stories as often."

Does anyone know where this is explained in greater detail? This is the first time I've heard about it and I find it interesting.

I edited the main page and added a ref to a Pub Med that studied the topic.

I'm no expert on Teen Titans, but from the episodes I've watched it seemed to me like Beast Boy was only really susceptible to Mad Mod's hypnosis because Beast Boy was a huge fan of television. And by fan, I mean "raving addict." So this would be more a case of Mad Mod exploiting that weakness (or being designed specifically as a foil for Beast Boy) than Beast Boy being generally weak-willed. (One of his examples even talks about him teaching Terra how to not be weak-willed) Given that it seems odd that he has an example on this trope, and even more odd that he's the focus of the page image. Am I wrong?
