I would question the use of Iudex Gundyr as a video example for this trope. None of the Soulsborne games even have entries on this page (although I'd argue that The Last Giant from Dark Souls II would qualify), but Gundyr is a particularly bad example, as one of the hardest first bosses in the series, enough to even take experienced players off guard.
