This trope doesn't necessarily mean that the person in question isn't sexually attracted to someone else, but just that they couldn't feel love for anybody else. If Single-Target Sexuality is a part of this trope, it is (usually) a result of the unrequited love. (though it's sometimes the other way round: Single-Target Sexuality is already the case, but the love turns out to be / becomes unrequited later.) But thanks for asking - I didn't know that trope before despite Do We Have This One in YKTTW...
