Redundant with Beneath the Earth? Both tropes sound eerily similar to me, and neither links to the other in its description or see also section, which gives a suspicion that one was launched without knowing the other existed...

I would have to disagree, Ultraterrestrials refers alien-like beings that originate on Earth, they can be moved to outer space, stayed some secluded area , another dimension or any number of places that are not underground while Beneath the Earth can refer to humans or aliens that never had any contact with our Insignificant Little Blue Planet

I do not see how. If the fair folk happen to be non humans who do not live on Earth but happened to come from their maybe but there are plenty of ways to write stories about them without that requirement. (They live on Earth, They do not come from Earth, they are made by powering up/cursing humans, ect)

Sorry but this page is misleading and desperately needs correction.
Ultraterrestrial does not refer to anomalous entities native to Earth. Ultra comes from Latin and means "beyond". While terrestrial also comes from Latin and in this context means "Earth". Thus ultraterrestrial means "beyond Earth".
The correct usage refers to beings of higher, or lower, dimensions; alternative universes and realities.
Entities indigenous to Earth are terrestrial. While anomalous or secret entities indigenous to Earth would be crypto-terrestrial. Or more commonly "Cryptid".
