- This Troper once read a short story about a Spanish group of time police who kept on having to prevent terrorists from going back in time and changing the Spanish revolution. They could also travel across dimensions and time lines as well, so whenever one of them died in the line of duty they just hired another timeline's version of them to be their replacement.
