Hi everyone! I'm new here and I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I have been trying to update new works of fiction onto certain tropes, or at least try to.
Anyway, I would like an opinion. For this trope, does it apply to a certain degree (I.E. tragedy and vice versa) or is it limited?
Like say for example:
Ant-Man: Scott making it out of the quantum world when it was said he'd never make it out.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Retrieving Hank's wife Janet Van Dyme from the quantum world.
X-Men Days or Future Past: Wolverine being the only one to make the time jump.
2012: Jackson's family making it to the ark after escaping an earthquake, an eruption, an ash storm, a snow storm and a massive tidal wave.
...and vise versa. Let me know what you guys think.
