Why is the Chamberlain example pro-Chamberlain like he was misunderstood when most agree he was weak and gave Hitler more of a chance to take over Europe through his dithering?

Could the trope have its name changed? There seems to be a large debate going on the Trope Namer, and the best way to cool the flames would be to change the name, I suppose?
