Would it be also this trope if a character describes beer in a way a sommelier would describe wine or is this trope strictly limited to wine?

Would it be okay if the following Dave Barry quote was made the page quote, just to help the people who don't know what a sommelier is?

For the benefit of those of you with plastic slipcovers, I should explain that a "sommelier" is a a wine steward, the dignified person who comes up to you at expensive restaurants, hands you the wine list, and says "excellent choice, sir" when you point to French writing that, translated, says "Sales Tax Included."

I always wanted to describe a wine as brisant in the presence of somebody who knows their wines, just to see if they fall for it.

"Cat's pee" is a legit wine-tasting term. Are you sure that's not? :)
