It seems like a lot of examples aren't average girls and/or have good reasons for their smitten-ness, which isn't consistent with the trope description.

  • Ema Skye, age 16, is smitten with Miles Edgeworth in the first Phoenix Wright game, but seems to know very little about him.
Quick question. Does this trope require romantic crush? If so, this doesn't fit because Ema's fangirling over Edge is just fangirling. She sees him as idol, It's not romantic in nature.

"Ginny Weasley towards Harry Potter, starting about when she was ten years old and never actually ending, though she was convinced to hide it for a few years so that she could get to know him as a friend. She's luckier than others as her feelings became stronger and more sincere and are reciprocated by Harry in the end. The rabid, spiteful Hermione/Harry fans have NEVER EVER forgiven her."

Is "The rabid, spiteful Hermione/Harry fans have NEVER EVER forgiven her." appropriate or necessary for the entry?

And I was a Luna/Harry shipper. :p

Nope, not appropriate or necessary; I've removed it.

Eeew, Luna/Harry? Luna/Ginny and Luna/Neville are so much better. :P

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
