Maybe "Schrodinger's toy" should be renamed "Heisenberg's toy." Heisenberg's Law is the one about the act of observing changing the thing observed.

I thought it was a reference to Schrodinger's Cat - If unobserved the toy might be in the box it was put in, or might be off having an adventure with other toys.

It's hard to tell what level Winnie The Pooh and friends should be at, since Christopher Robin is the only human who ever appears with them in the stories. They could be 3 or 4 (except when they're 5). In Disney's New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, Christopher Robin's mother appeared to be unaware they were alive.

Where would Muppets, Sesame Street, and other muppet styled characters fit in this trope. They coexist with real living beings and aren't toys or plushies in universe.
Also, where would the characters who are wooden figures fit. They aren't toys or puppets in universe, but the audience knows they are such.
